BENSENVILLE, Ill.- In a tense showdown at the Edge Ice Arena, the Chicago Cougars Elite squad battled their cross-town rivals, the Chicago Crush, in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

From the get-go, the Cougars displayed their determination, with Rocco Bifano notching an early goal, assisted by Jack Schejbal and Joshua Roman. However, the Crush quickly responded, leveling the score with Jace Levine finding the net, thanks to Niko Dougan and John Martino.


The second period witnessed the Crush's offensive surge, adding four goals to their tally. Despite a response from Robert DeMarco, the Cougars found themselves trailing. The final period saw a spirited comeback attempt, as Joshua Roman's early goal injected hope. Yet, despite their efforts, the Cougars fell short, with the Crush securing a 5-3 victory.
