BENSENVILLE, Ill.- The Chicago Cougars Elite squad has another rising star in their ranks. For the second month in a row, Elk Grove Village native Lukas Kurowski has been named the Midwest Division Forward of the Month after a scorching offensive stretch.

The 18-year-old forward was an unstoppable force, racking up 17 points (9 goals, 8 assists) over 10 games last month. Kurowski extended his scoring streak to eight consecutive games, showcasing his elite goal-scoring abilities night after night.

His blistering pace in February has Kurowski up to 46 points (24 goals, 22 assists) through just 36 games in his first junior campaign. Those gaudy offensive numbers put him second on the team in total scoring, trailing only forward Rocco Bifano.

Kurowski's dominating play at the junior level was so impressive that he earned a brief call-up to the Premier Cougars squad, Chicago's top junior team in the USPHL. The young sniper suited up for four games from January 31 to February 9, lighting the lamp for his first Premier goal during that stint.

The Chicago Cougars are extremely proud of Lukas for earning this well-deserved recognition. He's been a model of consistency and his work ethic is unmatched. Lukas has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.

At just 18 years old, Lukas has blossomed into a legitimate top-line offensive threat and powerplay quarterback at the junior ranks. His vision, shooting ability, and hockey IQ are already off the charts.

From the entire Chicago Cougars organization, we congratulate Lukas Kurowski on being named the USPHL Midwest Division Forward of the Month for February! His future is extraordinarily bright.
