Jack has been tremendous for the Cougars all year. To win defenseman of the month once is an accomplishment, but to do it in back-to-back months really shows how consistently dominant he has been. Jack has been steady and reliable out on the ice, and gives the Cougars a big boost with his ability to create offense from the backend.

On the season, Gardner leads all Cougars defensemen with 8 goals and 23 assists for 31 total points through 39 games played. His solid two-way game was also on display in the postseason, where he recorded 4 points, including scoring the overtime game-winner in Game 2 against the Fort Wayne Spacemen.

With his breakout first season in the USPHL, Jack has solidified himself as one of the elite young defensemen in the league. His future looks extremely bright as he continues his development toward the professional ranks.

The entire Chicago Cougars organization congratulates Jack on this outstanding achievement of being named Midwest Division Defenseman of the Month for two months in a row!
