FORT WAYNE, Ind.- In the heart of Fort Wayne, Indiana, the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse witnessed a playoff series that had hockey fans on the edge of their seats. The USPHL Midwest Divisional Series pitted the Chicago Cougars Elite squad against their divisional rivals, the Fort Wayne Spacemen, promising a best-of-three showdown that delivered thrills, spills, and unforgettable moments.

In an exciting playoff opener, the Chicago Cougars Elite faced the Fort Wayne Spacemen in a showdown that lived up to its promises. The SportONE/Parkview Icehouse witnessed a symphony of shots, checks, and stellar saves, setting the stage for a fiercely contested battle. Despite Gabe Tourtillott's offensive brilliance, penalties and a resilient Fort Wayne squad led to a heart-wrenching 4-3 defeat.
